Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and repairs to customer and company-owned equipment, with a focus on elevated work platforms and telehandlers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs of equipment with a focus on elevating work platforms, telehandlers, and lighting towers.
- When attending to customer sites, make every effort to repair machines on site, limiting the need to transport the machines off site.
- Be available to travel, including overnight accommodation, when requested.
- Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by Oshkosh policy, Australian Standards, and customer and/or site requirements.
- Must be available to work in the workshop at times when no field service jobs are available.
- Responsible for notifying the Field Service Coordinator if repairs or services can't be completed during visit and the reason why.
- As a Field Service Technician, you are also required to carry out general duties from time to time as requested by the Branch Manager.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of elevated work platforms and telehandlers, as well as excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
