Private Equity Real Estate Solicitor Opportunity

We have a rare and highly sought after opportunity for an ambitious solicitor or senior associate to join our growth focussed regional private equity real estate practice. The ideal candidate will be keen to relocate to the Asia region and work with leading global and regional private equity real estate sponsors, managers and investors on fast paced, varied, challenging and complex strategic and transactional work through the whole of the capital structure.



About the Role

In this role you will be a key member of one of the leading private equity real estate teams in the Asia Pacific region, offering genuine opportunities for growth and progression. You will work closely with experienced lawyers and be responsible for structuring investment, including capital raising and partnering, credit and debt styled investment.



The Team

Our team is led by Mark Bayliss, has been one of the most active in the market over a sustained period, maintaining an enviable deal sheet and track record of firsts, biggest and most complex for market transactions.



About You

You will bring a world view, curiosity about macro events and indicators that matter to clients, and an Asia Pacific regional focus. You will be drawn to high-performance culture and environment, commercially astute and savvy, and passionate about delivering a first-rate client experience, building long term, sustainable client relationships.



What We Look For
  • Previous experience in private equity, funds, financing or commercial real estate within a first-tier or high-profile practice.
  • A strong desire to develop understanding of all aspects of structuring investment, including capital raising and partnering, credit and debt styled investment.
  • First rate written and oral communication skills, strong drafting and legal analysis skills, ability to get across complex areas of law quickly.
