We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in our Helensvale, Gold Coast office. The ideal fit for this role would be someone who's a team player, self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  2. Produce high-quality structural mark-ups suitable for issue to clients and for use of the internal drafting team.
  3. Assist the project team to produce schematic, preliminary, tender & construction documentation submissions.
  4. Conduct design analyses using accepted conventional methods and the Company's software programs.
  5. Provide technical support to Graduate Structural Engineers and the Structural Drafting team.
  6. Assist with the company Quality Assurance procedures including technical reviews of project documents.
  7. Participate in the construction phases of projects including undertaking site inspections, approval of shop drawings, assessment of financial claims and variations and undertaking defect inspections.
  8. Attend weekly internal resourcing meetings and assist with project planning and resourcing.
  9. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  10. Respond to workshop & construction site queries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum 5 years of proven Structural Engineer experience.
  • You MUST have 3+ years structural engineering experience in Australia (or NZ).
  • Ability to apply structural engineering theory to structural design software packages, including but not limited to RAM Concept, Space Gass, RAPT, Structural Toolkit.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members.
