The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of fine wines and spirits, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

We are seeking a skilled Sommelier to join our team at Infinity in Sydney Tower. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for maintaining wine list updates, conducting monthly stock control, training employees in wines by the glass and matching wines, and building and sharing knowledge in beverages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date wine lists
  • Conducting regular tastings and training sessions
  • Collaborating with the beverage team to develop new menu offerings

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in fine dining or a similar position. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, with access to weekly tasting and education groups. They will also be part of a dynamic beverage team that offers a flexible 38-hour full-time roster.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sommelier to take their career to the next level or for a Junior Sommelier looking to gain valuable experience and build their skills.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wine and spirits, as well as experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask and work efficiently.
