We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Psychologist Leader to join our team at St Vincent\u2019s Hospital Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of our psychology workforce, as well as operational management of those who report to you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership of the psychology workforce, including planning, development, recruitment, and allocation of services
  • Oversight of high-quality education at SVHM
  • Clinical governance, including clinical accountability, credentialing, and scope of practice
  • Clinical supervision of skills and competencies of all Psychology staff at SVHM
  • Development of clinical policies, plans, and programs to enhance the service\u2019s capability
  • Collaboration with clinical and operational program managers to support the psychology (including neuropsychology) roles within interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification (Masters or Doctoral level qualification) in Psychology
  • Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
  • AHPRA Primary and Secondary Supervisor endorsement for post-graduate psychology students and psychology registrars
  • Endorsement for the Psychology Board of Australia in a relevant Area of Practice

About Psychology

SVHM employs approximately 47 Psychologists who work across a range of programs including Mental Health, Health Independence Program (HIP), and Neuroscience. This position provides professional leadership and governance to this workforce.
