Zylo is searching for a qualified Commercial Lawyer to contribute to our Sydney-based team.

This position involves providing counsel to clients on various aspects of capital markets transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and derivatives.

About You

  1. To succeed in this role, you must possess substantial experience in commercial law, particularly in capital markets transactions.
  2. Strong knowledge of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulatory framework is required.
  3. You should be skilled in crafting compelling arguments, negotiating agreements and communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  4. Meticulous in your work and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, you excel in fast-paced environments.
  5. Excellent teamwork and time management skills are crucial in this position.
  6. While not essential, experience in public M&A transactions or ECM transactions is viewed favorably.
  7. Proficiency in legal document management systems and research databases is desirable.
  8. Staying current with market trends and developments in the capital markets sector is vital for success.
