Nursery Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and caring Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young children in a nursery setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Daily Schedules: You will be responsible for managing daily schedules and assisting with routine tasks such as feeding, toilet breaks, rest time, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborating with Team Members: You will collaborate with other team members to plan and implement education activities that promote learning and development.
  • Ensuring Health and Safety: You will ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and assist with record keeping.

Requirements

  • Age and Eligibility: You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience and Qualifications: You should have previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting and hold an NVQ Diploma Level 3 qualification.
  • Communication Skills: You must have a good standard of English and effective communication skills.
  • DBS Check: You must hold a clear enhanced DBS (which can be applied for upon registration).
