Heavy Haulage Operator Role

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career as a Heavy Haulage Operator?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Heavy Haulage Operator, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service to our customers and contributing to various infrastructure projects across Queensland.

As a Heavy Haulage Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy haulage vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting quarry materials to construction sites throughout the region.

You will be responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

In addition to operating heavy haulage vehicles, you will also be required to complete basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials, including weighing and tracking data.

Effective communication with production and allocation staff is crucial in this role, as you will need to coordinate with them to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Multi Combination (MC) Licence, as well as the ability to learn and utilise telematics systems.

Furthermore, you will need to hold an OH&S induction for the construction industry (White Card) and have demonstrated knowledge of relevant transport laws and regulations.
