We are seeking a qualified Childcare Professional to join our team as an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and inclusive environment.

You will be responsible for interacting with and effectively supervising children while working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality education and care service. A key focus of this role is to acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs, and interests of the whole child while inspiring a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values.

About You

">
  • ">
  • No formal qualifications are necessary for this position, but a minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children is preferred.">
  • A range of study areas may be recognised, including behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.">
  • Experience working within the OSHC or long day care sector is desirable, but not essential.">
  • The ability to respond to the needs and concerns of children to ensure quality service meets agreed standards.">
  • A desire to succeed in a supportive workplace and contribute to the growth and development of the team.">
  • Holding a current First Aid and CPR certificate, or being able to obtain one, is desirable.">
  • Holding a light rigid or medium rigid driver's licence, eligible to obtain an RDA, is also desirable.">

Please Note: A Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is required for this role. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
