The Echo Entertainment Group is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Surveillance Department as Surveillance Trainee Operators. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and integrity of our gaming operations.
As a Surveillance Trainee Operator, you will engage in comprehensive training and evaluations to master the responsibilities of monitoring and documenting activities within the casino environment. Your primary duties will include:
- Vigilantly observing and accurately recording incidents that may threaten casino revenue, guest safety, or operational integrity.
- Investigating and reporting any illegal or undesirable activities in a prompt and effective manner.
You will collaborate with a close-knit team, providing essential responses to all safety and security communications, thereby fostering a secure atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Key Qualifications
- High personal integrity and the ability to function in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong mathematical skills coupled with moderate to advanced proficiency in computer applications.
- Familiarity with CCTV, security systems, and related technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional observational skills and a strong memory.
- Proven capacity to learn new systems and adhere to established procedures.
- Must possess or be eligible for a Queensland Casino Licence (CE) or Queensland Key Employee Casino Licence (KE).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as part of a rotating roster.
