Key Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic Communications and Events Adviser to provide expert advice and support to senior leaders on matters relevant to our objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide authoritative strategic advice and support to senior leaders on various matters to support the Commission in achieving its objectives.
  • Initiate, lead and/or oversee strategic projects and initiatives that champion diversity and inclusion across government and various sectors in Victoria.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic and operational planning, with responsibility for implementation to support the Commission in meeting its legislative objectives and strategic priorities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communications and marketing expertise.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Able to establish effective relationships with key stakeholders, community organisations, sponsors and media.
