Job Overview

The Warehousing and Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and cost-effective work environment. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a high-performing warehousing and logistics team.
  • Ensure a secure and compliant working environment.
  • Develop and enforce clear policies, procedures, and documented practices.
  • Maintain team capability through training, development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee all warehousing functions including receipt, storage, distribution, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure goods are processed, inspected, and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through timely order fulfilment and clear communication.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives while managing operational risks.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years relevant Supply Chain, Warehousing and logistics experience within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Strong understanding and working experience in a computerised ERP environment.
  • Strong leader and coach, with excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
