Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blasting Operations Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused individual to work in a fast-paced environment, executing blasting operations with precision and efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and load blasts, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to safety protocols
  • Conduct post-blast reporting, including blast monitoring and data analysis
  • Handle explosive deliveries and maintain magazine and stock records
  • Hold current Qld Shotfirers Licence and Explosives Security Clearance
  • Possess basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Blast design programs, with experience in Shotplus desirable but not essential

Requirements:

  • Qld Construction Induction (White card) certification
  • Heavy Rigid licence highly desirable
  • Experience with quarry blasting and/or blasting in built-up areas an advantage
