Position Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Inventory Management Specialist to oversee inventory operations at our facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that all inventory activities align with company objectives and financial plans. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing profitability by maintaining precise inventory records and ensuring product integrity while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate inventory data to determine stock requirements, collaborating closely with clients to maintain optimal levels.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular physical counts and cycle counting processes.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly to minimize disruptions to service and satisfaction.
  • Track and report on inventory metrics, focusing on damaged goods, returns, and necessary adjustments.
  • Process stock transactions in accordance with client reconciliation standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Consistently adhere to company policies, including Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and analytical individual with a strong focus on detail and a proven ability to manage inventory processes effectively. Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented approach with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
