As a quality specialist, you will apply your clinical knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes using cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will contribute as a subject matter expert in cross-functional agile development teams building and maintaining healthcare software.
  • You will identify issues in application design or implemented functionality.
  • You will design and execute detailed testing scenarios to validate application functionality and clinical safety.
  • You will create automated regression scripts using InterSystems test automation toolkit.
  • You will coordinate and plan regression script coverage for release validation.
  • You will maintain documentation related to functional specifications, workflows, agile processes, and update reports.
  • You may be assigned additional duties by the company from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A healthcare background and hospital experience are mandatory.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise with a clear understanding of healthcare and departmental interdependencies and workflows.
  • Tertiary education in a medical domain, science, or health informatics is required.
  • Experience working with healthcare applications as an end user or vendor is desirable.
  • A demonstrated interest in IT and the application of technology to add value and/or solve problems.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in either Microsoft or Mac Operating Systems.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies, and software products.
  • May be currently working in a hospital with a personal interest in taking an active role in how technology can improve patient outcomes.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
