Job Overview

Vectiq seeks a seasoned IT Infrastructure Technical Lead or Technical Project Manager with top-secret clearance to support IT infrastructure transition projects.

This role is responsible for developing strategy, overseeing execution, and ensuring seamless delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and within established project governance frameworks and controls, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing strategies for planning, design, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects across secure environments.
  • Defining and implementing cabling and infrastructure strategies for new or transitioning facilities.
  • Leading building-to-building infrastructure transitions.
  • Oversight of procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract management, and supplier engagement.
  • Driving project governance, risk management, and compliance with organisational standards.
  • Preparing and presenting technical updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensuring smooth handover and transition into operational environments.
Requirements
  • A proven track record as an IT Infrastructure Technical Lead or Technical Project Manager in large-scale, complex environments.
  • Experience in migration/relocation, cabling, and infrastructure transition projects.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strong understanding of infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery.
  • NV2 or TSPV clearance (mandatory).
