About the Role

The Key Account Manager – Business Development is a pivotal position at Cleanaway, responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute plans to meet individual sales budgets, targets, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Cleanaway customers, identifying opportunities to grow share of wallet and increase revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activity and market trends, utilizing this knowledge to inform sales strategies and optimize contract terms and prices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including opportunity pipeline, competitor activity, and market intelligence.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, focusing on customer portfolio value growth through tender responses and quotes.
  • Apply price increases and contract terms and conditions as contracted.

About You

We're seeking a sales professional with a proven track record of success in a commercial/industrial B2B environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong negotiation and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively.
