Cloud Services Management Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of cloud services ensuring system availability, performance, and security across multiple cloud environments within Azure.

• Apply your diverse range of Azure skills supported by relevant Microsoft certifications to deploy and configure cloud-based solutions.
• Support multiple Azure environments across an international footprint.
• Work closely with development and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on Azure.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in Azure, coupled with related Azure certifications (including AZ-104) and a strong desire to widen their technical skill sets. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced support for Azure-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Implement and support scalable, reliable, and secure Azure technologies that meet client needs and adhere to industry best practices.
• Leverage Azure portal and related tools to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize systems, and ensure high availability.
• Leverage Azure-native tools and integrations to implement observability solutions that ensure visibility into infrastructure and application health, performance, and security.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, system anomalies, or availability risks through metrics, alerts, and telemetry data.
• Participate in capacity planning, health checks, and operational reviews using data-driven insights to continuously improve platform performance.
• Manage the Azure platform's performance, security, and availability, ensuring that systems are available and secure.
• Establish and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate on planning and executing cloud migrations to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient transitions.
• Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge bases to ensure transparency, repeatability, and high standards of support and governance.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for Azure-related production issues.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Microsoft Azure Cloud Administrator or Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer role.
• Exceptional understanding of Azure technologies and services (including Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Storage) and experience in deploying and configuring cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles, including the design of secure, scalable, and reliable solutions on Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and security principles, including VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and SIEMs.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat protection.
• Understanding of the RHEL Linux operating system, including server architecture, maintenance, and administration.
• Competencies in managing cloud databases, including SQL Server on Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Azure support tasks in a systematic approach to identify, diagnose, and fix issues.
• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant commercial experience in managing Microsoft Azure environments and have current Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator).
