Job Description

The primary function of this role is to oversee the daily operations, maintenance and management of cloud services within Microsoft Azure.

  • Apply a diverse range of Azure skills supported by relevant certifications across an evolving Cloud Services platform.
  • This is a permanent role that will support multiple Azure environments across an international footprint.

This ideal opportunity is for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with Azure coupled with related Azure certifications and a strong desire to widen their technical skill sets.

You will provide advanced support for Azure-related issues, diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. You will also implement and support scalable, reliable and secure Azure technologies that meet client needs and adhere to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced support for Azure-related issues, diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Implement and support scalable, reliable and secure Azure technologies that meet client needs and adhere to industry best practices.
  • Leverage the Azure portal and related tools to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize systems and ensure high availability.
  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, system anomalies or availability risks through metrics, alerts and telemetry data.
  • Manage the performance, security and availability of the Azure platform, ensuring that systems are available and secure.
  • Establish and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity.
  • Collaborate on planning and executing cloud migrations to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient transitions.
  • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge bases to ensure transparency, repeatability and high standards of support and governance.
  • Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for Azure-related production issues.
