Production Management Role

This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a production site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, ensuring operational performance and alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • • Champion and embed our mission, vision and strategic priorities.
  • • Develop performance objectives that align with the operational plan.
  • • Recommend and support initiatives to improve operations and meet strategic targets.
  • • Build and maintain strong internal and external operational relationships.

Operational Excellence

  • • Manage site operations within defined cost targets.
  • • Maintain production efficiency, stock control and quality standards.
  • • Implement corrective actions when performance varies beyond expectations.

Culture Leadership

  • • Lead a culture of safety, performance and accountability.
  • • Manage recruitment, training, induction and development of site staff.
  • • Ensure compliance with industrial relations and safety legislation.

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • • Strong operational, financial and people management skills.
  • • Knowledge of safety management systems, compliance and audit processes.
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
