The Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Technician will be part of a multiskilled team responsible for delivering high-quality facility management and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a team to deliver facility management and maintenance services
  • Complete planned maintenance activities across Refrigeration/Air Conditioning systems
  • Identify and rectify equipment and infrastructure faults in a time-critical environment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
  • Inspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems
  • Perform minor works, including assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment and appliances
  • Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, safety, health, environment, and quality in work

About You

You will be qualified and experienced in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, with a focus on planned and reactive maintenance in a time-critical environment.

You will also possess:

  • ARTIC licence, Refrigerant handling licence, VBA licence
  • Connect and Disconnect electrical licence
  • Knowledge of BMS Systems
  • Experience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire)
  • Demonstrated experience in time-critical rectification and reporting
  • Capability in maintaining scheduled work plans
  • High standards of compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in work
  • A current unrestricted drivers' licence
  • Ability to complete and pass a National Police Check and Medical
  • Ability to evidence full COVID vaccinations
