About Our Sanctuary

A premier Gold Coast tourist destination, we welcome guests to experience our unique blend of environmental conservation and cultural heritage. As a casual First Nations Education Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Education team, delivering interactive programs and fostering connections with local communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host educational visits for schools, conduct outreach programs, and promote our work at community events.
  • Develop and deliver educational content on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and Australian wildlife conservation topics.
  • Establish relationships with local communities and contribute to storytelling efforts through compelling education programs.

Essential Requirements

  • A connection to and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
  • Confident facilitation skills and experience in information delivery.
  • Effective administrative skills to manage program bookings and events.
  • Wildlife handling experience or willingness to receive training.
