About This Role

The State Operations Manager will lead a team of client support and operational experts in Perth, responsible for delivering exceptional service and technical assistance to Senior Associate Advisers (SAA), Associate Advisors (AAs), and Client Service Managers (CSM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to provide support and technical guidance in the preparation of advice, implementation of advice, and ongoing assistance with managing clients.
  • Accountable for the delivery of consistent, compliant, and standardized operational processes.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders in the delivery of annual goals, objectives, and targets.
  • Monitor and manage team workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and proactively engage in projects to drive business outcomes.
  • Recruit new talent to strengthen the team.
  • Oversee the training and development program of the team.

Requirements:

  • Solid leadership experience in financial planning and management.
  • Strong technical knowledge in financial planning and compliance.
  • Ability to drive a high-performing culture and team dynamics.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and approach.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
  • Degree in finance, business, or management from a reputable institution.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications preferred.
