About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Management and Assurance Leader to join our team at TAFE NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, defining, and managing the end-to-end Quality and Assurance Management processes, including quality management, quality assurance, and test management activities across platforms and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality and Assurance Management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and maintain quality standards.
  • Partner with senior business and Systems Group stakeholders to understand the underlying problems and opportunities, and apply thought leadership and technical expertise to devise solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in a related field or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Understanding and demonstrated application of risk-based approaches to quality management, assurance, and testing.
  • Excellent understanding of software development and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Wide experience in different types of testing required in digital delivery.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD workflow and test automation.
