About the Role

HammondCare is seeking a Staff Specialist in Palliative Medicine to join our team at Braeside Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist palliative care services to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based palliative care services to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in teaching and research activities to advance the field of palliative medicine
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission and values
  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM) or eligibility to be recognized as a specialist within 6 months
  • Credentialed experience in multidisciplinary specialist practice in inpatient, consultative, and community settings
