Receptionist Job Description\Component Job Summary:
\Our busy holiday park in North Mackay is seeking a Front Office Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and manage the front desk operations. This role requires a team player who can work effectively with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
\Key Responsibilities:\
\• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to their queries in a timely and professional manner
\• Process guest check-ins and outs using our park booking system and handle any issues that may arise during this process
\• Coordinate with the Housekeeping team to ensure accommodation readiness and resolve any maintenance or repair issues
\• Supply guests with information about property amenities and local areas of interest
\• Complete day-to-day office administration tasks and maintain accurate records
\• Maintain excellent relationships with park teams, residents, and guests through effective communication and interpersonal skills
\• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a secure and organized workspace
\• Work weekends, public holidays, and evenings as needed and have a flexible approach to work arrangements
\Required Skills and Qualifications:
\• Previous front office experience within the hospitality industry
\• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to providing outstanding service
\• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of RMS or comparable Reservation Booking System
\• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
\• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a secure and organized workspace
\• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
