Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Experience Lead to spearhead the development of our digital products and services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of digital experiences.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the definition of a digital product's experience vision, designing interactions that bring the vision to life, and validating the desirability of digital products.

You will be the ultimate champion of the customer, playing an integral role in delivering industry-leading experiences.

  • Lead, plan & deliver a human-centred design approach for new or improved digital products and services.
  • Conduct discovery research with customers, facilitate co-design sessions/workshops.
  • Take responsibility for the build and evolution of evidence-based customer stories, journeys, sketches, flows & prototypes.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop an experience vision and UX kit that enables product and project teams to undertake detailed design & development.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, key stakeholders, squad/project team, and the broader Digital Experience Design team to shape the strategic direction of DoT's digital products.
  • Lead and provide support, direction, coaching and mentoring to more junior digital experience designers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Mastery of Human-Centred Design (HCD) & Design Thinking.
  • Experience managing the practice and performance of UX researchers and designers.
  • Mature experience in executive stakeholder management.
  • 5+ years working as a UX or Product Designer.
  • Proficiency in Figma for creating UX Design artefacts.
