Mindful Mental Health Therapist

As a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Therapist at SA Health, you will have the chance to positively impact individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation. You will provide evidence-based interventions through individual therapy, DBT group programs, and consultation with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

- Deliver proficient, person-centred DBT-related education and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver DBT services to individuals accessing mental health services.
- Contribute to the review of DBT effectiveness within SA Health mental health services.
- Support fellow DBT clinicians through the DBT consult group process and engage in reflective practice.
This multi-classed position is available as either RN2C or AHP2, with classification determined by qualifications and/or experience.
Requirements:RN2C:- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and current practicing certificate.
- Enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
- At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competence in DBT nursing practice and application of evidence-based DBT interventions.
- Honours degree or equivalent recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Appropriate degree or equivalent registration for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience in a clinical role with a mental health service.
- Demonstrated interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

The estimated salary for this position is between $88,255 - $107,279 per annum, depending on classification and experience.
