We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team covering the Newcastle region. The primary objective of this position is to promote the sales of Hitachi's Light Construction Equipment range.
SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience, plus a performance-based commission structure and a fully maintained company car.
Job DescriptionThis role involves managing existing customer relationships within the territory, actively seeking new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting, and participating in general marketing, trade shows, and networking activities. Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market analysis, and competitor intelligence is also required.

- Seek out and pursue new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting.
- Participate in general marketing, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the sales of Hitachi's Light Construction Equipment range.
- Accurately report current and prospective activity, growth potential, market analysis, and competitor intelligence.
- Demonstrated sales experience and success.
- Previous employment in a similar position or industry is preferred but not essential.
- Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction by developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets and earn lucrative incentives.
- Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including the use of CRM software.
- Confident, courteous, and professional communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously.
- A valid driver's license.
