About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. As a key member of our Property Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and budgeting of staff materials and equipment on each project.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work while ensuring the safety and profitability of each project. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the budgeting of staff materials and equipment on each project
  • Develop and maintain rapport with clients, providing them with timely and accurate updates
  • Perform various paint works on our key client sites, ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism
  • Coach and develop operational staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Painting and Decorating or similar
  • Current Driver's License
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a police clearance and full medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • A strong commitment to quality and OH&S management systems
