Digital Transformation Leadership Specialist

This is a senior executive role that requires a wide array of knowledge in respect to the digital landscape affecting businesses in today's dynamic environment.
About This RoleThe Director of Digital Transformation Services (DDTS) works with current and prospective clients to drive and build trust in our capabilities to deliver digital transformation initiatives that help them deliver exceptional customer experiences, streamline operational efficiency, and ensure readiness for the digital future.
Key Responsibilities- Work in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer to set key strategies for the development of the DTS Line of Business (LoB), including but not limited to, developing an itemised pricing model for services, LoB services offerings, set KPIs and best practice approaches to client acquisition.
- Identify opportunities within current and prospective clients that would be interested in DTS and work to grow the size of marketing revenue wallet by upselling and cross selling our DTS to them.
- Lead and facilitate client workshops to co-design solutions that identify digital transformation initiatives that drive operational efficiencies and foster exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on both customer and business outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and thought leadership on innovative approaches to problem solving and provide strategic advice to clients on best practice and opportunities for digital transformation.
- Scope project briefs, identify project pricing, plan delivery objectives and KPIs.
- Manage a team of project management and technical staff, located both onshore and offshore, to assist in planning and delivery of digital transformation projects for all clients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering or marketing, business, commerce, design or another closely related discipline.
- Professional certifications that can help the DDTS in better performing their role.
- A blend between a technology generalist, analytical and creative person.
- Successful previous experience as a senior manager of digital transformation services in the marketing or technology sectors, where exposure to sales or client facing roles will be looked upon favourably.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Proven ability to influence the client decisions in respect to service offerings.
- Previous experience in work closely with other business leaders.
- Creativity and design thinking, whereby the DDTS can think of new ideas and ways to improve the digital experience for their clients' customers.
- Project management skills that can help in oversight of digital transformation initiatives, such as planning, organizing and overseeing the various aspects of a digital transformation project.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
