Job Title: Software Development Specialist

The role of the Software Development Specialist is to contribute significantly to developing quality software products and addressing customer needs through collaboration with team members and other developers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, deploy, and support software developed.
  • Analyze customer requests and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Produce solution artefacts and estimates for internal review and approval.
  • Peer review solution artefacts to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Participate actively in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming as part of a self-organising, multi-disciplined team.
  • Provide training and support to internal and external customers on software usage and functionality.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years commercial software development experience.
  • Proficiency in designing solutions using agile methodologies.
  • At least 2 years working knowledge of CRM and Billing Systems.
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies and concepts including Object Oriented Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, Web Services, CRM, Utilities industry, SDLC, and Agile Methodologies.
