Residential Youth Worker Role

We are seeking individuals who share our passion for supporting young people in need and helping them thrive. As a Residential Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for youth in care.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about youth development and has experience working with vulnerable populations. They must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Provide daily care and support to young people, including assisting with personal grooming, cooking meals, and managing household chores;
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each young person;
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, built on trust, empathy, and understanding;
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve desired outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant qualification, such as a Diploma or Certificate IV in Youth Work or a related field. You must also have a valid Australian Driver's License (P2 or higher) and undergo a Working With Children Check.
