About the Role

This is a key position within the Marine Operations team, reporting to the Marine Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's marine compliance and employee training needs are met.

The role involves prioritizing tasks to facilitate and coordinate training requirements, as well as managing terminal infrastructure and service equipment for the marine operation. This includes supervising shore-based General Hands and motivating employee engagement with a growth mindset for upskilling and development.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of marine legislation and advanced knowledge of marine compliance. A MED2 certificate of competency and tertiary qualifications in Training and Assessment and Leadership are highly desirable.

About You
  • Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years' experience
  • Marine compliance knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Intermediate computer literacy and Microsoft Office skills

  • Certificate of Competency Master
  • Certificate IV in Leadership
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • MED 2 Certificate of Competency
  • Radio Operations Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
