This senior building consultant/lead professional plays a key role in providing expert advice on building repairs and leading a team.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced building lead to provide technical guidance to the wider team and clients through thorough building inspections and translating findings into detailed reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct property inspections to identify defects, evaluate compliance, and assess liabilities relevant to the project.
- Prepare written reports that document causes of failure, extent of loss, and recommended remediation.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and establishing professional networks.
The ideal candidate will have sound technical experience in building consultancy work (minimum 5+ years), strong commercial acumen, excellent client relationships and communication skills, high motivation, responsibility, sound judgement and customer focus, leadership experience, or aspirations, previous experience documenting and leading diverse projects, ability to perform in a fast-paced consulting environment with competing demands, and excellent technical report writing skills.
Requirements:- Experience in commercial and domestic building practices, understanding building regulations, codes, and standards, and demonstrating ability to interpret technical building matters.
- A genuine passion to assist in identifying and resolving site issues.
- Extensive technical building experience gained through trade or site experience.
