
Digital Operations Manager

A forward-thinking Digital Operations Manager is needed to drive commercial objectives and improve media effectiveness across eRetail and omnichannel platforms.
This role involves developing and executing retail media plans, utilizing analytics tools to monitor online performance, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver strategic ambitions.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably in eCommerce or emerging account management. Strong digital marketing and eCommerce experience, including sales channels, marketing tools, and analytics platforms, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- eRetail and Omnichannel Commercial Objectives: Deliver commercial objectives through trading and joint business/category plans, promotional programs, and operational improvements.
- Retail Media Plans: Develop and execute retail media plans to drive improved media effectiveness and ROI.
- Analytics and Digital Performance: Utilize analytics tools to monitor online performance and digital shelf metrics, optimize digital media performance, and develop best-in-class content, portfolio, and promotional strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that eRetail/omnichannel plans deliver on strategic ambitions and create joint value for eRetail partners and consumers.
- eRetail/Omnichannel Execution: Develop eRetail/omnichannel execution plans to support big brand campaigns, tactical initiatives, and new product launches across various consumer goods categories.
- 5+ years' experience in Sales or Account Management (eCommerce or emerging account management preferred).
- Experience with Australian or international grocery retailers preferred.
- Experience in new business development, negotiation, and partnering with retailers to develop strategic growth plans.
- Strong understanding of digital path-to-purchase and opportunities to influence consumer behavior.
- Experience developing creative solutions to overcome customer or business challenges or capture incremental opportunities.
- Confident managing internal processes including collaboration with work areas such as sales, finance, supply, marketing, design, product development etc.
- Digital Marketing and eCommerce experience or qualifications, including sales channels (Amazon, eBay etc.), marketing tools and channels (Search, Display, Email), and analytics platforms (preferred).
- Leadership and/or coaching experience either via managing direct reports or internal capability building (preferred).
- Experience working with retailer-specific data, analytics, or advertising platforms (e.g. Quantium, Citrus) highly regarded.
