Compassionate Housing Support Worker Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks, housing, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with developing independent living skills, such as household management, medication management, and socialization.
- Provide basic life skills training, including problem-solving, decision-making, and time management.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- Diploma in a related human/social service field.
- Minimum one year of recent related experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competitive hourly rate: $27.54-$31.61 per hour (plus night shift premium).
- Accrued vacation pay at 6% or in accordance with collective agreement.
- Eligibility for comprehensive benefits package after completion of probationary period.
