Job Title: Network Security Professional

This is a critical role involving analyzing and defining IT systems security requirements, implementing solutions, planning and tracking projects, and coordinating efforts in network security and interoperability.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Applying business process engineering concepts and methods to lead or conduct studies; designing and implementing security solutions for information systems and networks; applying knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, port and VLAN level filtering, network monitoring, compliance tools, audit logging, password management, anti-spam and virus systems, patch management systems, and other related security systems.
  • Developing policies and procedures to ensure reliability, accessibility, and prevent unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data; conducting risk and vulnerability assessments; performing security evaluations, audits, and reviews.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have five (5) years of experience performing end-to-end cybersecurity monitoring, identifying and mitigating risks; recommending network improvements to enhance system security. Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are preferred.
