About the Position

This is a pivotal role within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, dedicated to addressing the complex challenges faced by Aboriginal individuals within the justice system. As an Aboriginal Case Manager, you will work closely with local support services, the Koori Court, and other stakeholders to develop and implement tailored care plans that promote community safety and reduce reoffending rates.

You will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a profound understanding of the historical and contemporary contexts surrounding Indigenous Australian cultures and experiences. Experience in effective case management practices, including risk assessment, intervention, and culturally responsive care, will also be highly valued.
