We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Sweeping Team Member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily street sweeping services to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our Municipality.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant protocols and guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement by actively participating in team discussions and implementing new ideas.
Requirements:
  • A basic understanding of procedures and practices in one function, with a strong emphasis on adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • A current Class C Driver's License is mandatory for this role.
  • Ability to work early shifts and flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling accurate interpretation of instructions and effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Able to work independently without close supervision, taking initiative to ensure productive work and high-quality results.
  • Possess and maintain a suitable level of physical fitness to undertake the activities of the role, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated commitment to self-directed work environments and ability to take initiative to achieve gainful and productive work each working day.
  • Understanding of quality customer service principles and practices.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate for General Construction Induction (CIC – White Card) NSW.
  • Experience in operating handheld equipment, driving street cleaning equipment, plant, and trucks.
  • Proficiency in driving various vehicles and plant for operation.
  • Previous experience in Traffic Control Work would be highly beneficial.
