We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Support Educator to support the homeroom teachers and students in our lower primary year levels.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary aged students, understanding of principles and practice of student learning strategies, ability to work collaboratively within a team and proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students in the primary years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of primary school aged children by providing guidance and assistance as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure all students have the best possible start to their primary years of education
  • Establish and foster positive relationships with students in the primary years, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Be actively involved in the cultural, pastoral and co-curricular activities of the School
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience working with primary aged students
  • Understanding of principles and practice of student learning strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students in the primary years
Benefits:

This is a part-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm. The successful applicant will be expected to satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the School's Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy and Child Safety Code of Conduct.
