About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced trainer to join our dynamic team at Stirling Institute of Australia. As a Contract Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway, and marking their assignments.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a qualification or suitable experience in Aged Care. If you do not have the latest level of TAE, we are happy to support applicants through the process of obtaining this.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver dynamic training to students, support them through their pathway, and mark their assignments.
  • Work towards Stirling's compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
  • Encourage students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement, as placed by Stirling's Work Placement Coordinators.
  • Deliver engaging virtual training via Zoom.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and significant work experience in Individual Support or related industry.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification.
  • Passion to train and motivate others.
  • Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills.
  • Drivers license and own reliable transport.
  • Working with Children Check and ability to take out public liability insurance.
