About the Role

We are seeking a talented GCP Data Engineer to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, data transformation, and data modeling capabilities on GCP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, data quality, and data security
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Provide expert-level support for data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
Requirements
  • Strong experience as a GCP Data Engineer with proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency in GCP services such as Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Data Fusion
  • Experience with data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java, and experience with SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team
