We are seeking a talented Cloud Data Engineer to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes on GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business applications and analytics platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data assets.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks for data engineering tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve data engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, with proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Data Fusion.
  • Experience in data ingestion, data transformation, and data modeling on GCP.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java, and experience with SQL.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
  • A strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team.
