This is an exciting opportunity to design digital, analogue, and power electronics for advanced systems.

The ideal candidate will be technically curious, thrive in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, and have a strong foundation in electronics and electrical systems, particularly within power electronics and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design digital, analogue, and power electronics for advanced systems.
  • Draft schematics and PCB layouts, generating design and output documentation.
  • Contribute to integration and testing of electronic assemblies.
  • Review engineering work including schematics, mockups, and PCB layouts.
  • Participate in verification, validation, and troubleshooting of design faults.
  • Develop, execute, and report on engineering test activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on technical matters.
  • Support manufacturing and sustainment engineering activities.
  • Assist in lab set-up and participate in field/flight trials as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, products, and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2-6 years of industry experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals, especially power electronics and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency with E-CAD tools (ideally Altium Designer).
  • Comfortable using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analysers, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Interest or prior experience in avionics or unmanned systems will be highly regarded.
