Logistics Driver Role

We are seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join our team as a Logistics Driver. This role plays a crucial part in the timely and accurate collection of goods from donor properties, clothing banks and stores.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading loose goods, including furniture items
  • Performing labouring tasks, including lifting and carrying reasonable weights with a jockey
  • Distribution of goods to stores and assisting retail staff where required
  • Ensuring a professional customer relations experience for customers
  • Maintaining safe working methods and driving practices
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in multi-drop or courier work is not essential, but a MR licence, good time management, reliability and a can-do attitude are beneficial
  • A well-presented, high-energy individual with a proven track record in providing excellent customer service
  • Experience in safe preparation, loading and unloading of goods
  • A comfort level with aligning to our Mission and Values
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year's driving experience operating a medium rigid vehicle
  • Current Australian drivers' licence / Medium Rigid licence (or above)
  • Confident driving skills and a proven safety record
