Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Room Attendant who takes pride in their work, has attention to detail, and can deliver high standards of cleanliness.

In this role, you will report directly to the Executive Housekeeping Manager and be responsible for duties including:

  • Cleaning guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and corridors to the hotel's high standards.
  • Maintaining room stock by ensuring all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities.
  • Refilling, replacing, and storing towels and linen correctly.
  • Reporting maintenance requirements.
  • Identifying and returning lost property following hotel procedures.
  • Maintaining equipment by using and storing it correctly.
  • Using cleaning chemicals safely and following all WH&S policies and procedures.

About You

  • A customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with guests.
  • A good eye for detail with previous cleaning, customer service, or hospitality experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
  • Experience in a 4-star hotel is desirable.
  • Licence to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
