Exciting Opportunity for a Fire Estimation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Estimator to join our team at Randstad. As a Fire Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed cost estimations for clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Break down complex construction projects into detailed estimates
  2. Prepare comprehensive tender packages with accurate cost estimations
  3. Formulate requests for information (RFIs) to ensure accurate project scope
  4. Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
  5. Maintain a professional and open relationship with clients throughout the estimating process
  6. Handover successful tenders to our Projects Management Team
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry
  2. Strong understanding of fire detection, EWIS, sprinkler, and hydrant systems
  3. Ability to read and comprehend architectural, structural, and building services drawings
  4. Ability to read and comprehend specifications and relevant information from fire engineering reports
  5. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (or other take-off software)
  6. A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  7. A dynamic and team-driven attitude
  8. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  9. Enthusiasm, commitment, and reliability
