Job Opportunity:

Transport Temperature-Sensitive Freight

Job Description:

This casual opportunity allows you to work with a consumer and healthcare group, based at the Willawong distribution centre. The role involves transporting temperature-sensitive freight to retail destinations across Brisbane and surrounding regions, operating modern fleet of automatic Volvo vehicles.

  • Champion safety through adherence to Vision Zero principles.
  • Comply with company procedures, including coupling and uncoupling protocols.
  • Safely operate and manage side curtain trailers.
  • Deliver freight in a timely and professional manner while maintaining high standard of customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and all relevant transport legislation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid driver's licence with demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane metropolitan areas and surrounding northern and southern corridors.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional manual handling tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude with proactive and flexible approach to daily tasks.
