Job Title

We are seeking a casual swimming instructor to join our team at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre.

About the Role

This role involves teaching swimming and water safety skills to school-aged participants. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming and water safety skills to school-aged participants.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality programs and services.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements
  • You must be an energetic and reliable person with a passion for working with children.
  • You must be immediately available to work various casual shifts on weekdays during school terms.
  • You must hold a current Austswim Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety qualification or Swim Australia qualification.
  • You must hold a current CPR certificate.
  • You must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • You must hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (for applicants 18 years of age or older).
Available Shifts
  • Monday to Friday between 9:00am - 3:00pm and 3:30pm - 7:00pm.
